DIANA PENUELA-ONEILL, OD

Dr. Diana Penuela-O'Neill attended the University of Illinois where she majored in pre-medicine. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree, along with a BS in visual science, from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1986. Dr. Penuela-O'Neill founded Northwest Eyecare in Algonquin in 1994. She enjoys spending time with her patients and attending to their visual and medical needs. She is particularly interested in fitting specialty contact lenses. Dr. Penuela-O'Neill is bilingual in Spanish/English.

JENNIFER PAWLAK, OD

Dr. Jennifer Pawlak attended the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire where she obtained her undergraduate degree in biology. In 1997, she obtained her doctorate degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Jennifer Pawlak has always had an interest in the medical field. She became an optometrist at Northwest Eyecare because she felt that eyes are such an important part of everyone's wellbeing.

ASHLEY ROEHL, OD

Dr. Ashley Roehl received her undergraduate degree in biology, with minors in biochemistry and Spanish, from Augustana College in 2009. She graduated at the top of her class from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2013. Dr. Roehl enjoys working with patients of all ages, especially children. Having grown up in Algonquin, she is excited to be back in the area serving the community.
