Retinal Imaging

We use cutting-edge digital imaging technology to assess the health of your eyes. Digital retinal imaging allows your optometrist to evaluate the health of the interior of your eye. This evaluation is an important part of your yearly exams because many eye diseases have no outward symptoms; detection of such diseases is more probable when a retinal image is taken yearly.

 

Eye conditions, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, are diagnosed by detecting such changes over time. This picture will be used as a baseline to track any changes in the health of your eyes for future visits.
